Donnie doesn't consider himself a typical "senior pastor". He values worship and solid Biblical teaching but his greatest passion is relationships. You may find him in the office occasionally but if he had his way, he would always be found at a local eatery talking with whomever will talk back.
Donnie has been married to his gorgeous wife, Christa, since 1990. He has three amazing kids who have no idea what their dad does all day other than Sunday. His time with Mt. Hood Christian Center began in 2000. 
Donnie calls himself a recovering pharisee. He has developed a bit of a rebellious streak toward religion and admits that in recent years he really doesn't like to color inside the lines. While he works at bringing a paradigm shift to the church he understands that it is about as difficult as the pursuit of his dream job--Jedi Knight.
