For Kids

Our goal is to provide a meaningful and fun way for children to learn about and serve Jesus Christ.  We accomplish this goal in several ways…
 
Nursery

An infant nursery is provided at all services for children from birth through 2 years of age. Every effort is made to ensure a safe, comfortable, place for your children while attending the services at Mount Hood Christian Center.

Children’s Church

We offer 2 different Children’s Church classes during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship hour.  These services teach the children how to live a life of total devotion to the Lord through praise, worship, prayer, Bible stories, object lessons, puppet stories, skits, videos, games and much more!

Kid’s B.L.A.S.T.

Kid’s B.L.A.S.T. stands for Kids Bible Learning And Spiritual Training, and is a Bible study class just for children on Wednesday evenings in the Children’s Chapel.  It is a productive and fun time of Bible learning and activities.

MPact Girls Clubs (previously Missionettes) and Royal Rangers

We have two clubs for girls and boys ages 3 years through Middle School ages that meet on Sundays at 4 p.m.  These small groups are designed to help kids grow in Christian walk through friendships, achievements, Bible study, and various other activities such as camping and retreats.  For more info, please contact the Girls Club Coordinator, Monica Mitchell or Ranger Commander, Daren Strong.

Seasonal Activities

Throughout the year, there are many other opportunities for children of all ages here at Mount Hood Christian Center, such as our annual Kid’s Christmas musical, Saturday Matinee’s, other holiday celebrations, and Vacation Bible School and Kid’s Camp in the summer.  Please call or watch our web site for more information as it comes available…

Children’s Ministry here at Mount Hood Christian Center is a very important part of all that we are here, and we are here for you.  We take ministry to children seriously! A strong Children's Ministry is needed today more than ever. We want to provide a solid biblical foundation that will help our kids live positively in a negative world.  We want children to know and understand that God loves them, He wants to be their friend, and He has a great plan for their lives.  If there is ever anything that we can do for you, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or e-mail.  We are here to serve Christ by serving children and their families.
